Thank you to all of our skaters who took part in our Club Free competition. It was such a busy and successful night and we enjoyed welcoming a panel of national and international judges to the event.

To all of the skaters... Well done... you really did a fabulous job in a competitive arena with your friends and local supporters.

Amazing work from the youngsters of the club at the British Ice Skating event in Sheffield.

We had competition and medal winners, test scores achieved and first time competition skates.

... and all the fun of our annual Showcase. It was wonderful to see our skaters out in force performing their latest programmes. Thank you to all of our wonderful supporters and volunteers who made it such and amazing night.

Dress up, skate your programme or create and artistic number as a soloist or in a group and present them to our friendly club supporters.

We've launched an 'Axel Club' to mark the significant achievement of those landing their axel for the first time. It marks a turning point in any skater's career as the enter the world of double jumps!

Coaches will nominate their skater and we'll give them a certificate and a gift from the club. We'd love some footage so that we can share it with the rest of the club too.

Rosy is the club representative that will be looking after this initiative.

A number of club skaters took place in the Skate London event this week at Alexandra Palace in the first Open competition since lockdown.

Our club AGM will take place on 9 October at Guildford Spectrum at 8.30am. All members and their families welcome.

Kristen placed 1st in the British Championships Qualifier with a total score of 159.44.

We know Kristen is going to have the most amazing season ahead and wish her so much luck for the British Championships later this year.

Saturday saw our Basic Novice and above skaters working hard with Ruth, complete with dramatic and fun 'cool down'.

It's been so wonderful to see our skaters back together. Our club sessions have been really fantastic and have provided a safe return to the ice.

We're so excited about the return to the ice at Guildford Spectrum. The rink opens at 5.30am on Monday 12 April.

Thanks to all the skaters who took part in Ruth and Melissa's half term challenge event. There were longest spirals, highest number of skips, doubles and triples, programme and artistic showcases.
